Roger Wilco is proprietary voice conferencing software that enables users to communicate with one another over the Internet. It is mainly used in online gaming. It was developed by Resounding Technology , later it was of GameSpy Industries sold and is part of GameSpy - tools . No new version of the software has been released since 2003.
The tool is similar to Teamspeak or Ventrilo . The name Roger Wilco is made up of the terms Roger ("Understood") and Wilco ("Will follow the instructions") used in radio communications and is still the name of the protagonist from the Space Quest series. The program is shareware .
