There is next to no information about the life of Rogeret de Cambrai. Its name suggests that it comes from the northern French city of Cambrai , which was very important in the Middle Ages ( Cambrai Cathedral ). His identity emerges only from two compositions that come from him.

Two songs by Rogeret have survived, the manuscripts of which are in the French National Library (manuscript MS fr. 845, f. 127r-v).
