Shell lights

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The carcass light is a measurement method of the construction for clear dimensions of the carcass state of a building.

The shell light typically describes the size of the wall openings in a building before plastering , cladding or the installation of doors or windows .

The shell light is always larger than the expansion dimension , because cladding as well as installations and superstructures are carried out in the course of the interior work (e.g. plaster or door frames ). The final clear width and clear height of the wall openings are only obtained after completion.
