Pipe register
A pipe register consists of several pipe strings, mostly arranged in parallel, through which a liquid or gas flows in the same direction. Pipe registers usually serve as heat exchangers .
Since the development of the first steam engines there has been a need for pipe registers as heat exchangers . With the introduction of hot water and steam heating , pipe registers were mainly used as radiators in commercial rooms.
Different types of pipe registers:
- Heating register
- Cooling register
- Shell and tube heat exchanger
- Prefabricated (capillary) pipe registers made of plastic for laying as a geothermal collector , wall or floor heating
- Radiators and towel dryers made from tubular steel for the bathroom
