Roll bonding

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you join two sheets together by rolling under great pressure, this is known as the roll-bond process . Certain parts of the sheet are cut out or treated with separating agents so that they cannot connect there. These areas are then "inflated" so that fine channels can form there. This method is z. B. used for the production of absorbers in flat collectors of thermal solar systems. Cooling surfaces made of painted aluminum in this way are often clearly visible in refrigerators.
