Wheelchair hockey

Wheelchair hockey (often abbreviated as RoHo ) is a team sport in the hall with special wheelchairs . Wheelchair hockey is a recognized rehabilitation sport for people with disabilities. The wheelchair hockey game was introduced in 1995 by the Wheelchair Sports Association (RSG) Hanover.

A distinction is made between two different forms:

  • E-hockey : wheelchair hockey in electric wheelchairs or electric wheelchair hockey
  • H-Hockey : wheelchair hockey in hand-operated wheelchairs
