Roman Kraszewski (born 1930 in Vilnius , then the Republic of Poland ) is a Polish music educator, music critic and composer.

Life

Kraszewski was the first to graduate from Halina Nowacka-Durnaś's piano class at the music school she founded in Szczecin, which had become Polish .

From 1951 to 1955 he studied music theory and composition with Piotr Perkowski and Stefan Bolesław Poradowski at the State University of Music in Wroclaw .

From 1955 to 2000 he taught music history, form theory and counterpoint at the State Music School 2nd degree "Feliks Nowowiejski" in Szczecin. He wrote for the daily newspapers Kurier Szczeciński , Głos Szczeciński and the trade journal Ruch Muzyczny . Among other things, he composed songs for piano and voice and for children's choir.
