Romy Herzberg
Romy Herzberg (* 1951 in Ratingen ) is a German musician (double bass).
Live and act
Herzberg has been playing with Christina Fuchs (bass clarinet, saxophone) in the Duo KontraSax since 1990, fusing composition and improvisation. KontraSax has recorded three albums as well as film and radio play music (for example for the documentary Auf der Transsib; 2007), performances and silent films with live music. For text settings by Gertrude Stein and Patricia Highsmith , we worked with actress Renate Fuhrmann. She also played Musiques Plurielles with Joëlle Léandre .
