Rosslare Harbor ( Irish Calafort Ros Láir ), also known as Rosslare Europort or Ballygeary , is a port in southeast Ireland near Wexford .

It was built in 1906 to create a hub for ferry traffic to the island. Today the port is an important transshipment point for goods traffic between mainland Europe and the Republic of Ireland. Rosslare Harbor is the starting point of the N25 / E30 trunk road , the main east-west long-distance route in Ireland.

The neighboring village has several inns, hotels, a Romanesque church, a bank, a police station and some shops.
