The Villa Roter Hof ( Polish : Czerwony Dwór ) was built in 1902 in the center of Zakopane in the Zakopane style . The eponymous red roof was put on in 1907. In the building temporarily lived Artur Rubinstein , Karol Szymanowski , Stefan Żeromski with his son and Józef Kuraś . After 1951 the local kindergarten was in the Red Court. It is currently made available to local artists. The villa is listed.
