Royal College of Pathologists

The Royal College of Pathologists is a scientific association of pathologists in the United Kingdom . It was founded in 1962 and supports and promotes work on the subject of pathology . This society is also responsible for the content of specialist training in the United Kingdom in pathology.

membership

Membership can be acquired in various ways. One is about taking a postgraduate exam that leads to the status of Member of the Royal College of Pathologists (MRCPath) . Particularly deserving pathologists or medical professionals can also be awarded the status of Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) .

The company is currently (2009) headed by President Peter Furness .
