Ruben Vandorp is a Dutch western rider .
Career
At the age of twelve he went to Wilhelm Burgmeijer's stable to learn to ride. Little by little he started in youth tournaments of all kinds.
After graduating from high school, he applied for a place in veterinary medicine. After receiving a rejection, he deepened his riding skills through courses and training sessions and decided that this should become his profession. At that time he was hired at the Nedpoint Ranch. To advance his career, he went to the USA. With the stallion Einstein's Revolution he became one of the top riders and trainers in the USA.
He is a seven-time European champion in various western disciplines.
Private
In 2003 he married Melissa, with whom he has two children (Skylar and Peyton).
