Rubik's Rabbits (front view)

Rubik's Rabbits is a math puzzle game developed by Ernő Rubik . However, it was not nearly as successful as invented by him Rubik's Cube (Rubik's Cube) .

The game has the shape of a cylinder that consists of 6 levels. There are therefore 5 movable discs above the hat brim. These can be individually rotated to 9 different positions. This is possible both clockwise and counterclockwise.

When looking through the transparent underside of the cylinder, rabbits can be seen in the backlight. The top of the puzzle is colored (red, yellow and green) so that the animals take on different colors. However, depending on the position of the individual levels, they are covered.

Goal of the game

The aim of the game is to make all 9 rabbits visible.

The static lower level and the 5 filters on top result in 9 5 = 59049 possibilities. Reduced to this aspect, the puzzle is one of the more simple puzzles in the Rubik collection (the classic magic cube offers more than 43 trillion possible combinations).
