description

Game board 3 × 3 mill

The “game board” by Rubiks Mühle consists of a modified Rubik's Cube , which has nine recesses on each side of the cube. As characters both game partners will each receive 18 stones in black and white respectively, which fit into the recesses.

Rubik's Cube

The course of the game consists of two phases, as in the Mühlespiel. The phase of setting and the phase of pulling. In the placing phase, the players alternately put their stones into the wells until all stones have been placed. In the move phase, the players take turns moving a stone into an adjacent field on one side of the cube or they turn a level of the Rubik's cube by 90 ° and thus move the pieces to another side of the cube.

If a player has placed, moved or turned three of his own stones in a row or diagonally ("mill"), he may capture one of the opponent's stones, provided the opponent is not in a mill himself. If several of your own mills are created by turning, only one stone may still be struck. Own mills created by opposing turning do not generate a strike claim. If one of the two players only has three stones left, he can place the stone freely on the die ("jump") in his turn. The first player to have only two stones has lost.
