Ruchtraut from Allmendshofen

Ruchtraud von Allmendshofen was a popular saint . According to legend, the alleged family member of the Knights of Allmendshofen near Donaueschingen was led to the church in Mistelbrunn by a stag . After her death, two bulls moved her coffin to Mistelbrunn.

The opening of the Catholic kindergarten “St. Ruchtraut ”in Allmendshofen took place on October 28, 1962.
