The rowing club Germania from 1929 e. V. is a non-profit rowing club in Dortmund .
The club is a member of the German Rowing Association and is dedicated to rowing in popular and competitive sports. In racing, more than 900 regattas have been won since it was founded. The main focus of the association's work, however, is mass sports and youth development.
The club is located in the municipal boathouse in Dortmund on the Dortmund-Ems Canal in the immediate vicinity of the Federal Rowing Center Dortmund , the rowing club Hansa from 1898 and the canoeing department of the Free Sports Club 1898 Dortmund . The boathouse houses the club's extensive boat park with over 150 boat berths, the club hall and the weight room with sports equipment for competition and winter training.
