Rudolf Matt

Rudolf Matt (born April 21, 1877 in  Mauren ; † July 26, 1960 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician (VP, later VU).

biography

Matt, a master locksmith and farmer by profession, was the community treasurer from 1915 to 1918 and the community leader in Mauren from 1921 to 1924. From 1922 to 1928 he was a state school supervisor.

From 1922 to 1926, Matt for the People's Party first deputy in the Landtag of Liechtenstein . From 1936 to 1949 he was a member of the Administrative Complaints Board. From 1939 to 1945 he was again a member of the state parliament. This time for the Fatherland Union , in which the Liechtenstein People's Party had meanwhile been absorbed. As a member of parliament, he was a member of the Finance Commission and the State Committee.

Matt was a member of the Central Committee elected at the founding assembly of the Patriotic Union in 1936.
