The ruin Rondchâtel is a castle on a hill near Rondchâtel in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .

The place name Rondchâtel indicates a round castle that probably stood on the round hill. It is believed that a Roman fort used to stand there. However, no traces were found in the exploratory excavations carried out by the Archaeological Service of the Canton of Bern in 1995. Only a terraced step around the hilltop can indicate a moat. There is no historical evidence of the existence of a castle.
