Russian river register

The Russian River Register ( Russian Российский Речной Регистр , dt Rossijski Retschnoi Registr, abbreviated. RRR, English: Russian River Register), headquartered in Moscow is a Russian federal independent classification society , are covered by the more than 23,000 vessels. The company consists of the head office and 14 departments on all major river routes and inland waters.

The company emerged in 1992 from the previous Russian Register founded on December 31, 1913, which was renamed several times: Russki Registr (1913–1923), Rossijski Registr (1923–1924), Registr SSSR (1924–1939), Rechnoi Registr SSSR ( 1939–1953), Registr SSSR (1953–1957), Retschnoi Registr RSFSR (1957–1992) and from 1992 to the present - Rossijski Retschnoi Registr.

The RRR works with 19 foreign classification societies in the matter of ensuring safety at sea and inland waterways.
