Ruvu is a place in the East African state of Tanzania . It is located in the Pwani region . The place is the junction of the Tanganyika Railway from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma . The connection to the Usambara Railway branches off here . The place had 6,697 inhabitants in 2002.
