Säfter was a German volume and grain measure in Wetzlar and was half of the Metze .

  • 1 eighth (Wetzlarer Korn-) = 8 Kornmetzen = 16 Säfter = 64 Mäßchen = 6736.43 Parisian cubic inches = 133.626 liters
  • Oats 1 sapper = 470.776 Parisian cubic inches = 9.338 liters
  • 1 eighth (Wetzlarer oat) = 8 oatmetzes = 16 sapper = 72 stitches = 7532.42 Parisian cubic inches = 149.416 liters
