The Südbahnhofmarkt is the largest retail market in the Upper Austrian capital Linz and is located in the Lustenau district .

It was created in 1949 on the station area of ​​the former Budweis – Linz – Gmunden horse-drawn railway , and this is where its name comes from. The old station building still stands today and houses u. a. a branch of the economic service of the city of Linz. 28 fixed market stalls offer their goods every day. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the regional offer is expanded to include a farmers' market with changing dealers.
