The Suleyman Pasha Mosque is an Ottoman mosque that was built in 1523 by Sultan Suleyman I in the city of Rhodes , on the northeast tip of the island of Rhodes .

The Ottoman forces took the island in 1522 after bitter resistance. The current mosque complex dates from 1808. The building is plastered in pink. The place where the mosque stands is also named after Suleyman I. The mosque's Şadirvan ( purification well ) dates from the 16th century. The mosque's floor plan is square and covered by ten domes.
