S 77 Dachs (P 6127) is a missile speedboat of the Gepard class . It was in service with the German Navy from March 22, 1984 to February 29, 2012 .

It belonged to the 7th Schnellbootgeschwader and was last stationed in Warnemünde . S 77 Dachs served as a patrol boat to protect the German coast. It had a crew of 36. The 18,000  hp brought the boat to a maximum speed of 42  knots .

S 77 Dachs was deployed off the coast of Lebanon as part of the UN observer mission UNIFIL :

  • from October 15, 2006 to August 31, 2007 with S 80 Hyäne (P 6130) (from Warnemünde September 21, 2006, to Warnemünde September 26, 2007). The crew was replaced once.
  • from October 30, 2008 to November 27, 2009 together with S 73 Hermelin (P 6123) (from Warnemünde October 13, 2008, to Warnemünde December 11, 2009). The crew was replaced twice.

S77 Dachs and S 74 Nerz were taken out of service prematurely on February 29, 2012.
