SBB C 4/5

There was at the Swiss Federal Railways ( SBB ) a total of three series of steam locomotives, the type designation C 4/5 contributed

  • The 19 C 4/5 with the number 2601–2619 and superheated steam twin engine, which were obtained from SLM between 1907 and 1912 .
  • The 32 C 4/5 with the number 2701–2732 and a four-cylinder compound machine, which were obtained from the SLM between 1904 and 1906.
  • The 8 GB C 4/5 with four-cylinder compound engine taken over by the Gotthard Railway Company , which were obtained from Maffei in 1906 and were given the numbers 2801–2808 by the SBB.
