The two playgrounds at the Tierpark sports complex were completely destroyed by the storm in August 2005. On August 22, 2005, around 100,000 - 200,000 cubic meters of slope material separated from the Rossberg . The rubble made its way through the forest and also reached the animal park sports facility. Almost a year later, on August 19, 2006, the two new natural grass pitches were inaugurated.
