Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha  ( SESCAM for short ) is a state institution that is responsible for the basic health care of the approximately 2.12 million population in the Castilla-La Mancha region under the Spanish law Sistema Nacional de Salud . SESCAM is tax-financed and is available to everyone who is in the country.

SESCAM employs around 24,220 people. The extensive health network consists of 18 hospitals, 11 specialist centers for diagnosis and special treatment, 204 health centers and 1,115 local community wards. SESCAM operates four medical helicopters and 131 ambulances for emergency patient transport.

The Base Aérea de Cañadillas is a base for the SESCAM rescue helicopter squadron .
