Base Aérea de Cañadillas is a base for fire-fighting aircraft and helicopters for fighting forest and wildfire in the district of Fuente-Higuera in the municipality of Molinicos in the Spanish province of Albacete in the autonomous region of Castile-La Mancha .

The airfield is home to the Centro Comarcal de Emergencias de la Sierra del Segura , which was built in 2009 by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and, since its opening on May 1, 2010, by GEACAM  (Empresa Pública de Gestión Ambiental de Castilla - La Mancha) is operated. The total area of ​​the Centro Comarcal de Emergencias is around 14.2 hectares. The Centro, with a built-up area of ​​over 8,000 m², includes a hangar with 544 m², a main building with an area of ​​560 m² for equipment and crew quarters and a petrol station.

The heliport with the ICAO approval code LE0255 consists of three individual concreted helipads . Next to the heliport is an 880 meter runway for fire-fighting aircraft. Next to the petrol station there is also the hall for fire trucks for fighting forest fires. The Centro is manned around the clock with pilots and crews. The rescue helicopter SESCAM (Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha) is also stationed there. The tower frequency is 129.975 MHz .

The Base Aérea de Cañadillas was equipped with a self-sufficient power supply that takes over the supply of the base in the event of a power failure. A biomass heating system is available for winter operation. The construction costs amounted to around 1.9 million euros.
