GEACAM
Gestión Ambiental de Castilla-La Mancha , SA ( GEACAM for short ) is a Spanish public company (empresa pública) that is subordinate to the Consejería de Agricultura within the government of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha .
tasks
GEACAM as a company for development, procurement and operation is responsible for administrative tasks and implementation of plans and infrastructure projects that are directly or indirectly related to the environment and rural development of the region. Its tasks also include integrated waste management and, in particular, prevention and fire fighting. GEACAM has also been the operator of the newly built Base Aérea de Cañadillas since 2010 .

The chairman of GEACAM is María Luisa Soriano Martin (born 1954), she acts as an administrative body and is responsible for all functional and administrative areas of the company. The managing director is Pedro Ruiz Sánchez . GEACAM employs around 700 people (as of 2011).
