SNORDA

The SNORDA is a reference system that is used, among other things, in the military for location determination. This gives you a quick overview of the terrain you are in.

S iting : exact description of the place where one is
N ordrichtung : the north direction by hand show or a prominent point in the direction of North call
O rtschaften : Clockwise (beginning in the north), the nearest or important for the job towns with associated distances call
R space by : the features of the landscape describe (terrain, geographical large rooms and spaces)
D ominante heights : dominant heights with distances and heights in the clockwise call
A chsen : (Ex. A1 Zurich-Geneva) important modes such as motorways
