The SV Andritz is an Austrian football -Verein from the Styrian capital Graz and was established in 1948 as a sports club Maschinenfabrik Andritz.

history

The soccer department of SV Andritz starts its game operations in 1949, the game is played on a field that is located on the company premises of the Andritz machine factory .

In the 1950/51 season, SV Andritz was awarded the championship diploma in the Graz district . Andritz plays in the second class in the 1952/1953 season. Andritz (1954) was promoted to the national league within three years. The start was successful and Andritz is playing his first game against the first of the league (Fohnsdorf - Andritz 4: 4). Further games will follow against Frohnleiten, Voitsberg, Red-Star Knittelfeld, Bruck, Leoben, Donawitz.

In the 1998/99 season he was promoted to the lower division middle, in 2000/01 she was promoted to the upper division middle / west for the first time.

In the 2012/13 season, the first team plays in the Oberliga Mitte, after having achieved the championship title in the Unterliga Mitte. Fighting team II plays in 1st class middle A.
