The SV Schwarzach is an Austrian football club from the town of Schwarzach im Pongau .

history

In 1945 the entire association was re-established after the war. Soccer was played in Schwarzach even before the Second World War . In May of the founding year, a sports field was built on the "Kössner Haide" in the Salzachau.

In 1946 the entry into the league took place. As early as 1951, he was promoted to the Landesliga Süd.

In 1956, he was even promoted to the Tauern League, which was then the second highest level in Austria. In the next few years the club shuttled between 1st class South and the regional league.

In 1978 he was promoted to the Tauern League North . In the following years, the club played in the 1st class south and in the newly installed 2nd regional league south.

In 1997 he was promoted to the 1st regional league and in 2000 even in the Regionalliga West where the club was able to hold out for 2 seasons before relegation to the 1st regional league was announced again.

Since 2004 there has been a cooperation with the sports club from St. Veit.
