The SWG screws Gaisbach GmbH is a company of the Würth Group , based in Waldenburg .

history

In 1958, Reinhold Würth founded a screw production company, which was entered in the commercial register in 1967 under the name SWG Schraubenwerk Gaisbach GmbH & Co. KG . So that the company could continue to grow, it moved to the Hohenlohe industrial park in Waldenburg in 1988 , where the headquarters are today.

After expansion of the production and logistics centers, subsidiaries were founded in France (SWG France SARL) and in Spain (SWG Schraubenwerk Gaisbach España SLU) in 2008/2009 .

In 2014 the business area SWG Engineering was added and in 2020 the business area electroplating .

Companies

The trading division is made up of the main areas of "automotive" and "fastening and connection technology" and supplies building material / wood retailers, hardware stores, wholesalers and online platforms as well as automotive parts wholesalers in Germany and Europe.
