A technical program is created in Austrian federal states mainly for areas such as tourism, waste disposal, housing and industry, infrastructure facilities, shopping centers, securing raw material deposits or for nature conservation. In doing so, locations and suitability zones for the specific uses or restrictions of use are shown in the supra-local interest. Issued as an ordinance, these are binding for the state administration and the municipalities. Issued as a concept, these are only binding for the state administration .
