Saeculum (magazine)

Saeculum ( Latin time, age ; also: century ) is a biannual yearbook for universal history. The editors are the historians Peter Burschel and Christoph Marx . The German-language publication was founded in 1950 by the Munich historian Georg Stadtmüller . It was published from 1950 to 2002 by Verlag Karl Alber (Freiburg / Munich). It has been published by Böhlau Verlag (Cologne / Weimar) since 2003 . The main focus is on scientific articles from the areas of social, economic and cultural history. The Saeculum is a peer-reviewed journal .
