Saigon Water Park
Saigon Water Park was a water park right on the Saigon River in the Thủ Đức district of Ho Chi Minh City . In 1997 it was the first park of its kind in Ho Chi Minh City.
Financial difficulties
The park encountered competition from a number of other water parks in Ho Chi Minh City after opening, and financial difficulties as a result. In 2006 the investor dismantled the park, converted the land from recreational to residential properties, and sold and removed the entire inventory of the water park. Many guidebooks and travel websites still refer to this tourist attraction even though it is closed.
