Sacral dimples

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The sacral dimple (also known as the coccyx dimple) is an indentation in the skin between the anus and sacrum ( os sacrum ). It can look like a second anus.

It is medically relevant that the spinal canal can be extended or open here . As long as the spine is not open and the spinal cord swims unhindered in the spinal fluid (e.g. no adhesion), this is generally medically harmless.
