Sacramental priest

The Congregation of the Most Holy Sacrament ( Latin : Congregatio Sanctissimi Sacramenti ), whose members are also called "sacramental priests", was a Roman Catholic religious community .

In 1632 the Congregation of the Sacred Priests was founded by Christoph d'Authier de Sisgan in Marseille and confirmed papally in 1647 by Innocent X. Originally, the male order was primarily active in the leadership of seminaries and popular missions .
