Sam Pilgrim

Sam Pilgrim (born June 4, 1990 ) is a British cyclist and web video producer . He is regarded as the figurehead of the freeride scene and has emerged as the winner of many competitions.

life and career

Sports career

Pilgrim grew up in Colchester . At the age of about ten he became enthusiastic about cycling when he saw pictures of fancy bike jumps in an issue of the British sports magazine Mountain Biking UK . At 14 he was already taking part in competitions himself. He enjoyed early success and quickly established himself as a well-known figure in his sport. When his school days came to an end, he was already making a living by cycling; He was never dependent on a job. In 2013 he emerged as the winner of the FMB World Tour .

From 2017 Pilgrim, started with e-bikes to experiment. He is considered a pioneer of e-mountain biking, and he was the first rider to perform many jump maneuvers on an electric bike.

Pilgrim as a web video producer

Pilgrim has had a YouTube channel since 2006 , which it originally created to upload application videos for competitions. It wasn't until many years later that he began to publish videos for entertainment and educational purposes only. He now publishes new content several times a week. His best-known videos have been viewed in the tens of millions.
