Samsung Wave II S8530
The Samsung Wave II S8530 is the successor to the Samsung Wave S8500 , the first cell phone with Samsung's own Bada operating system .
It was initially launched in October 2010 with the operating system version Bada 1.2, and an update to Bada 2.0 has been available since March 2012. The device has slightly larger dimensions than its predecessor: The display is 3.7 inches instead of the previous 3.3 inches, but no longer the "Super AMOLED" technology, but a "super clear" LCD with Gorilla Glass is for use . The low availability of Super AMOLED displays is considered to be one of the decisive reasons for the release of this model.
Otherwise only the shape of the menu button has been changed. The rest of the hardware is essentially identical to its predecessor.
The successor model is the Samsung Wave III S8600 .
