Cavelti began his career with Chur floorball , which he stayed with until 2015.
Grasshopper Club Zurich
On May 18, 2015, the Grasshopper Club Zurich announced the engagement of the offensive player. With the Grasshoppers he won the championship in 2016 and the Swiss Cup in February 2017. Before he moved to Chur, he played 63 games in the city of Zurich's dress. He scored 40 goals and 9 assists.

For the 2017/18 season Cavelti switched back to Chur floorball.
