Buddhist confession of repentance

The Buddhist confession of repentance ( Chinese  懺悔 文 , Pinyin chànhuǐ wén , W.-G. ch'an-hui-wen ; Japanese 懺悔 文 , sange mon ; kor. 참회문 , chamhoe mun ) is used as a ritual in Mahayana Buddhism Purification and purification of the mind, often practiced before the beginning of other rituals, such as taking refuge .

Repentance

All bad karma, committed by me from ancient times

Out of my beginningless greed, out of my anger, out of my madness

Born from my body, from my speech, from my thinking

I now recognize it and purify myself completely

Where xi suo zao zhu e ye

Jie you wu shi tan chen chi

Cong shen yu yi zhi suo sheng

Yi qie wo jin jie chan hui

我 昔 所造 諸 悪 業

皆由 無 始 貪瞋痴

従 身 語 意之所 生

一切 我 今 皆 懺悔
