St. Oswald is a small village that belongs to the municipality of Kartitsch in East Tyrol .

The village is about 2.5 km northwest of the main town Kartitsch at an altitude of 1360  m above sea level. A. and is after this the largest village in the municipality.

The oldest church in the municipality of Kartitsch (consecrated in 1360) is located in Sankt Oswald. It is a miners' church that is dedicated to St. Oswald . During the renovation in 1966, frescoes from around 1500 were found.

There is a drag lift in the village, which operates in winter. It is located on the sunny Dorfberg.
