Santa Cruz (Corporate)
Santa Cruz is a company based in the US city of Santa Cruz , California, of the same name . Santa Cruz manufactures skateboards , snowboards , mountain bikes and surfboards , and there is also its own line of clothing. The first series from 1989 to 1999 was made by the licensing company Dnr Sportsystem Ltd. manufactured. Patrizio Roffi created all designs for all boards in Switzerland. The boards were manufactured in various factories in Europe. Along with Vision and Powell-Peralta , the company is one of the most important outfitters on the skateboard scene. In particular, the "Everslick" skateboard from 1989, which had a plastic coating on the bottom of the board for the first time, was considered innovative at the time. Before numerous professionals brought their own skateboard brands onto the market, it was primarily divided between the three manufacturers mentioned above and H-Street until the mid-1990s .

Santa Cruz sponsors both a skateboard, a snowboard and a surf team. The Santa Cruz professional snowboard team includes: Gian Simmen , Seth Huot , Robbie Sell , Charlie Moarace , Eirik Haugo , Florian Franz Benedikt Wimmer , Danny Wheeler , Stephen Duke and Silvia Mittermüller . The Santa Cruz professional surfing team includes: Matt Archbold , Shawn Barron , Adam Reprogle , Christian Fletcher (surfer) , Anthony Tashnik , Bud Freitas , Matt Schrodetz , Sean Petersen and Austin Smith Ford .
