Sarpedones
Sarpedones was an Indo-Parthian king who ruled around AD 70.
Sarpedones is only known from its coins. These were minted in Sindh and Kandahar , where the ruler probably succeeded Gondophares . The coin images of the ruler are mainly characterized by the typical goatee. Sarpedones refer to themselves as Gondophares on their coins . The name of the latter ruler became a ruler title after his death.
