Fair weather cloud
As a fair-weather clouds are clouds called that day formed on sunny days in a uniform height and in the evening dissolve. These are mainly clouds of the type Cumulus humilis (Cu hum) or Cumulus mediocris (Cu med). Fair weather clouds usually have their greatest expansion shortly after noon . They are created by thermals and represent a helpful indication of the location and intensity of the thermals for glider pilots and other aerial sports .
