Schützenstrasse 7 (Bergheim)
The historic house at Schützenstrasse 7 (also called "Villa Pechstein") is a listed building, which is located in the city center of the district town of Bergheim in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
Building history
The then director of the Bergheim district works, Walter Pechstein, had this house built in 1912/13. Anton Ruland had drafted the plans, and the Elsdorf master builder Heinrich Wolff carried out the execution. The building was soon named "Villa Pechstein". Pechstein initially worked as an engineer in the construction of the district waterworks. In 1906 the Bergheim district committee gave him the management of the waterworks. Later Pechstein was the technical director of the Bergheim district works.
