Sharaknoz ( Armenian ), scientific transcription Šaraknoc ' , is the liturgical book of worship chants in the Armenian rite , which can be traced back to the Middle Ages or even the patristic era. The handwritten tradition begins in the 12th century. The first print appeared in Amsterdam in 1664.
