Follingbo ship settlement
The ship ratios from Follingbo lie on an approximately 60 x 18 m measured, aligned from northeast to southwest burial near the racetrack Visbytravet, south of Visby on the Swedish island Gotland . The only partially visible remains are covered with pines and bushes.
The burial ground consists of three overgrown ship settlements ( Swedish skeppssättning ) and two stone circles .
The first ship's settlement measures about 33 × 5 m and is 0.3 m high. The southwestern bow stone, sloping to the west, measures 0.6 × 0.6 m and is 1.1 m high. The stones are made of granite and are missing in the middle of the ship. The 41 curbs in the northeast are 0.3 to 0.9 m long and 0.2 to 0.5 m high. The northeastern stern stone measures 0.6 × 0.6 m and is 0.9 m high.
Another ship settlement measures around 20 × 6 m and is 0.3 to 0.4 m high. The southwestern bow stone measures 0.6 × 0.4 m and is 0.7 m high.
The third ship measures approximately 12 × 6 m and is 0.2-0.4 m high with a multitude of 0.2-0.4 m stones on the surface.
The stones of the two stone circles measuring 2.5 to 3.5 m are only about 0.1 m high and 0.2 to 0.4 m long to the south-east of the central ship settlement . In the northern stone circle there is a 0.6 m high block.
