  • Franz Schiftan (1870–1936), German farmer and politician (DVP), member of the Prussian state parliament
  • Hans Schiftan (1899–1941), resistance fighter against the Nazi regime
  • Hermann Schiftan (1883–1942), German lawyer, businessman and patron of the arts
